As a leading and independent producer and marketer of digital entertainment products in Europe, the USA, Australia and Japan, our business areas include the production of films and games, the purchase and sale of film license rights, the distribution of digital media products and games publishing under the Deep Silver, Prime Matter and Ravenscourt game labels.

In order to address new challenges in the Internal Software Development, we are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) who can help us with the implementation of new services and improve the workflow and capabilities of all departments. Be in charge of new services for internal purposes and participate in leveraging PLAION to the next level of business. The broad range of competencies in the company extends the software domains from game backends and developers’ requirements to business-driven web applications and intra-net extensions in an international environment. Our agile structure allows the use of the latest technologies and patterns with plenty of scope to try out something new or to apply proven concepts.

Your Tasks

  • Develop microservices with the focus on Product Information Management
  • Implement appealing frontends with respect to usability and functionality
  • Interface with existing systems and integrate new services into our ecosystem
  • Participate in architectural decisions for new software systems
  • Keep track of the project and coordinate individual development steps
  • Make use of modern tools and implement newest technologies
  • Be part of an agile team and foster DevOps thinking

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of work experience in a relevant field
  • Experience in developing web applications
  • Proficiency in a web programming language (preferably JavaScript / TypeScript)
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (preferably Angular)
  • Familiarity with microservices and database access (e.g. Node.js, Express)
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Containerization, Kubernetes) a plus
  • Knowledge of message queues and databases a plus (e.g. NATS, MongoDB)
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for changing projects
  • Fluent level of English is required (written and verbal), German is an advantage
