Your Mission

  • Collaborate on creative vision for the game with project relevant Directors and Leads (Creative, Art, Audio, Cinematic, …) 
  • Adapt, revise and improve design practices used within the whole team and take them to a new level, if possible
  • Lead and inspire the team to execute the game vision in desired product quality and with artistic excellence
  • Project the game vision in to a every stage of design process and every second of gameplay experience
  • Work closely with all necessary departments and divisions to clarify the vision, provide guidance, and make decisions that lead to successful and harmonious implementation of assets, mechanics and features  
  • Create a positive, forward-focused environment that identifies and prioritizes issues for solution 
  • Manage and guide other designers to creative self-expression resulting in their professional and personal growth 
  • Lead by example and be willing to be hands on when team needs it 
  • Create a learning environment in which the game design team members can evolve and share best practices 

Your Skillset

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in all stages of game development cycles – from concept to live service 
  • Extensive game design experience with shipped AAA titles as either a game design lead or a design director (at least 1 AAA title and 2 others in Lead role) 
  • Expertise in tools and techniques used to build games 
    • UE4 or Unity, ideally both with keen eye on UE5 
    • SketchUP or similar tool for quick visualizations 
    • PowerPoint is your blood category 
    • Articy or Arcweave is a plus 
  • Exceptional design judgement and instincts 
  • A deep understanding of design mechanics and systems, as well as game direction and vision as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the games industry and market / player trends 
  • Excellent communication skills, including being able to articulate complex ideas in simple, understandable way to different audiences
  • A proven track record in leading teams to ship successful games 
  • Very good command of the English language (both written and spoken)
