Your Tasks

Working within the Global Brand and Marketing Division and reporting to a Head of Franchise, you will help drive the global brand and marketing strategy for your portfolio of PLAION IP.
  • This is a strategic Brand role with a global remit
  • Working with a team of marketing professionals, you will own the global Brand and Marketing Strategy for your franchise(s), and deliver campaigns that will inspire and empower PLAION’s teams worldwide to maximise the growth and commercial potential of each franchise
  • You will work closely with the development studio and PLAION’s Product Development Team to assist product strategy with consumer and commercial insights, and ensure that the product scope and quality meets the strategic marketing and commercial needs of the brand
  • You will be the brand / product expert and evangelist to internal and external stakeholders including Deep Silver’s global and local marketing teams, and external partners including 1st Party and Licensors
Responsibilities
  • Define and develop the appropriate brand goals and strategies to maximise commercial potential of the franchise(s)
  • Create and maintain core Brand deliverables; brand bible and style guide, product positioning, creative identity and messaging that provides a strategic framework for the cross functional marketing teams
  • Develop and communicate global brand strategy to the central and local marketing teams
  • With your Franchise team, deliver multi-channel campaign activations from announce through to launch and beyond
  • Lead the development of all brand creative, including Key art, trailers, and all advertising materials (web / digital, TV, print and out of home, and channel)
  • Ensure Brand guidelines are adhered to by all PLAION teams and partners
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships and communication with all internal stakeholders – Studio, Product Development, and Marketing and Commercial teams at central and local level
  • Identify the need for, and commission where necessary, consumer research
  • Accurately manage and maintain the central brand and marketing budget for the title, and deliver key marketing materials on time and within budget
  • With the Insights and Commercial teams define forecast and commercial expectations for the brand
  • With the Marketing team, constantly monitor assess the effectiveness of go-to-market activities, assets, channels and strategies and ensure that your campaigns are effective, innovative and represent best-practice in a rapidly changing market
  • Work with potential licensees and other external partners to explore new commercial avenues for the brand

Your Profile

  • 2-3+ years in Brand / Marketing at a global level
  • 5+ years on the gaming industry, with exposure to multiple aspects of the business preferred
  • Educated to Graduate level or a professional equivalent i.e MBA
  • Strategically minded and a great communicator, able to articulate a vision to all stakeholders
  • Strong business instincts, able to make astute commercial judgments
  • Highly creative, able to brief and critique to produce exceptional results, and comfortable leading creative
    projects with external agencies and partners
  • Excellent presentational skills, able to build and craft compelling presentation decks
  • In depth knowledge of the Western ‘AAA’ games market and marketing strategies and channels, including PR,
    social, community and retail
  • A keen gamer, able to demonstrate a passion for gaming
  • Strong project and budget management skills
  • Fluent in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced of MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
