In alignment with our continued success, we are looking for a seasoned Sales Planner Manager PlayStation to play an active role in building the foundation for our PLAION Partner business in what we describe as our “Eastern Europe (EE) PLAION Partner entity” – with headquarters in the Czech Republic. 

As a Sales Planner Manager PlayStation, you will support the organization to set-up, plan and achieve commercial targets; acting as a liaison to the operational, commercial planning and other commercial roles. The Sales Planner Manager coordinates and controls the commercial targets in cooperation with the commercial team. 

All activities are performed in alignment with and under the final commercial decision-making authority of the Sales Director. 

Main Tasks

Principle Accountabilities:

  • In close cooperation with the PLAION commercial & operational teams as well as the operational team at Sony Interactive Europe (SIE) oversee planning of sales volumes, forecasting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually), analytics and risk assessment for the business on an running basis; making sure the business is planned ahead in regards to local unit (SKUs) needs; including any requirements for so called bundle units which will/might impact the operational planning and delivery schedules. 
  • Act as liaison between the PLAION commercial team, PLAION operational team and SIE where it relates to always having a clear understanding of the supply chain (inbound and outbound of gods) with clear delivery timelines of planned to be shipped units and if any delays to such work to try to mitigate delays and at the same time keep relevant PLAION staff informed on such. 
  • Work closely with PLAION commercial team on prioritization and retail/customer allocation needs if/as needed if supply vs. demand issues warrants it. 
  • Together with PLAION operational & commercial team oversee the purchase ordering process (PO´s) for all SIE hardware, accessory and software products, including making sure to place such orders on new releases in a diligent timely manner to meet release dates
  • Monitor stock levels at both retailers (including the ongoing weekly collecting of such retailer stock reporting) and own local warehouse and where warranted flag up any concerns or other issues vs. so called healthy running rates on such stock levels to the PLAION commercial team
  • Together with the PLAION commercial team, oversee product pricing and listing communication to the market
  • Together with the PLAION Finance & Commercial Team oversee, sanity check and approve retailer credit notes

  • Computer literate with knowledge / experience of database management
  • Excellent analytical & organizational skills & detail oriented
  • A professional and self-motivated team player

 

Experience/Qualification requirement: 

  • Highly numerate and analytically minded
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple work steams and adhere to strict deadlines. 
  • Excellent communication skills in Czech and English.
  • Experienced user of MS Office – Excel/Word/PowerPoint & Outlook365
  • A personal interest in interactive entertainment, consumer electronics & software is very desirable
